"Polar Vortex Survival Guide: Skincare Edition": A Guest Post By Pass The Rouge

If your skin is really starting to show the effects of this harsh winter, then you'll definitely want to check out these winter skincare product recommendations by Pass the Rouge! I'd like to thank Michelle & Valerie for sharing these great tips and encourage you to check out their blog http://passtherouge.com/

We don't know about you but NYC is under this awful polar vortex that has really taken a toll on our skin!  If you are familiar with our blog, then you know we are obsessed with skincare, and we have tested and reviewed countless skincare products.  It is extremely important to hydrate and moisturize your dry skin especially during this time of year. So we compiled a list of our favorite products and created our "Polar Vortex Survival Guide: Skincare Edition".  So without further ado, here's our list:

Embryolisse Lait Cream- We have mentioned this face lotion countless times on our blog, and for good reason- this cream is on the heavier side but blends nicely into your skin.  It doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy or sticky.

Sibu under eye cream- I don't know about you all, but we both struggle with dry undereye areas.  Together we have tried high end and low end eye creams and we're never really "WOWED" by any of them.  Recently we both began using Sibu's eye cream and finally found a product that locks in moisture.  Best of all this product is paraben free, and all natural!

Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream-  This product has the consistency of super thick Vaseline but the difference is it absorbs into your skin in a matter of seconds! The product explains itself as a concentrated glycerin formula enriched with Vitamin E, Vitamin B2, and Camphor. You can use this cream on any body part that may need some extra moisture; I love using it on my lips and cuticles.

Burt’s Bees Coconut Foot Crème: There’s nothing worse than a harsh winter causing dry, cracked feet. This product is super moisturizing and really penetrates deep into your skin.  Right before bed, I slather some on and put on a pair of my comfiest socks, by the morning my feet are super soft.
So there you have it, our  "Polar Vortex Survival Guide: Skincare Edition." We would love to hear some of your winter skincare must haves!  You can find us on twitter @passtherouge and on Instagram at Passtherouge.

Stay Warm, and moisturize!

Xo,
Michelle & Valerie
